Community First: Trash Pong Charity Tournament Kicks Off Blue Santa Toy Drive in Central Texas

At The Bin Spa, It’s Not About Trash Bins — It’s About People

This past weekend, we hosted our First Annual Trash Pong Charity Beer Pong Tournament in partnership with Bold Republic Brewing — and it was nothing short of a huge success.

While our day-to-day work might revolve around trash bin cleaning services in Central Texas, events like this are a reminder of what we really care about: people. At The Bin Spa, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and partnering with the Blue Santa Program is one way we’re proud to do just that.

Four Full Bins of Toys (And Counting)

The Trash Pong tournament wasn’t just a fun, family-friendly event — it was the kickoff to our holiday toy drive for the Blue Santa charity program. By the end of the day, we had nearly four full trash bins packed with new, unwrapped toys ready to bring joy to families across the region.

In addition to the toy donations, the event raised $250 in cash, which will go directly toward purchasing more gifts for kids in need this holiday season.

A Huge Thanks to the Community — and to Our Partners

We had seven incredible teams compete in this year’s Trash Pong Tournament. The Bin Spa’s own team, made up of owner Brendan and ops manager Glenn, took home first place honors. Centex Automotive followed closely behind and secured second place in a tight competition.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who played, attended, or dropped off a toy — and especially to Bold Republic Brewing for their generosity. Not only did they donate the space and the beer, they’ve continued to promote the toy drive throughout their business and the local community.

The Toy Drive Isn’t Over Yet — You Can Still Help

If you missed the event, there’s still time to make a difference. Now through November 28, you can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Bold Republic Brewing in Temple, TX.

As a thank-you for your generosity, Bold Republic is offering a free pint of beer to anyone who donates a toy during the drive. It’s a simple way to give back, and every toy counts.
